The monarchy has always sort of been part of our culture, it wasn't as important as it used to be, but now with the wedding between Kate Middleton and Prince William, it's come back so quickly and been introduced to the youth culture. Princess Diana and Prince Charles wedding was part of our parents culture, this wedding is now part of ours.
This wedding is also going to create a bunch of new trends, there are some many parts of this wedding that are now going to be a part of other weddings in the future. Kate's dress is going to be one of the most popular trends to be recreated, she is a new icon in our culture
